Tips for Preparing for the Fall Semester

With the fall semester quickly approaching for student freelancers, a nice mixture of excitement and stress seems to take over with every passing day. During the summer, we had more free time than we typically do during the school year, and in most cases, our freelance load picked up during this time because we had more time to devote to it. But with school approaching, that extra time is going to be consumed with school work. So what are some ways that the student freelancer can prepare for the extra load of school work and still balance their freelance schedule? Below I will outline some tips that have helped me over the last three years of freelancing as a student.

How to Keep Your Sanity During Final Exams

So it is that time of the semester where most of us will be doing final exams in the next few weeks. Finals are typically the busiest time of the semester for most students, and for the student freelancer, finding time to make sure all of your freelance work is taken care of in a timely fashion becomes even a greater challenge. Today I will share some pointers to help you make it through final exams, hopefully with good grades and happy clients all at the same time.

Learning the school/work/life balance

Being a student requires juggling a lot of your time to work, meet due dates, study for tests, go to class, and still have time to hang out with friends.
